Richard Stanley Philius is a dynamic leader and innovative thinker with a deep passion for creating meaningful change in his community. From a young age, he was drawn to the world of business, driven by a desire to make a positive impact and improve the lives of others. His academic journey began at the primary school level at École Saint-Jean l’Évangéliste, where he developed a strong foundation in discipline and respect for rules. He continued his education at Collège Catts Pressoir, excelling in leadership, project management, and entrepreneurship, and cultivating a love for literature, writing, and philosophy.

Richard pursued higher education in Business, Management, Marketing, and Public Relations at the Centre d’études diplomatiques et internationales, where he interacted with ambassadors, renowned entrepreneurs, and public figures. He holds certifications with honors from several American universities in finance, project management, communication, and psychology. Having successfully completed these studies, he is now pursuing a new Bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations. Upon completion, he plans to start a Master’s in International Business.

Professionally, Richard began his career early by founding Fun Vacation Entertainment (2016 – 2020), where he organized events and programs to promote cultural engagement. Since August 2020, he has served as the President and CEO of Young Development Actor’s Organization (2020 – 2025), a non-profit dedicated to training and empowering development actors within the community. Under his leadership, YDA has made a significant global impact. Richard also holds the positions of Executive Director at Haiti Global Consulting and has taken on various volunteer roles, including Artistic Director, Project Manager, and Outreach Coordinator.

Richard’s key skills include leadership, management, finance, communication, and project and program management. His approach to work is characterized by creativity, empathy, and a commitment to excellence. His diverse interests, including literature, chess, and cultural exchanges, enrich his professional perspective and drive.

Looking ahead, Richard aims to continue personal and professional growth, refine his skills, and develop exciting new projects. His relatives describe him as both strict and perfectionistic, yet deeply humane, understanding, and open-minded.
