Many studies regarding mental modeling focus on the study of cognitive processes that take place in the human mind, in certain specific cases such as problem solving. When the individual develops a certain mental scheme, he can acknowledge that this scheme is inadequate for his purposes. Now it is the moment in which he starts developing a new mental model in order to understand what is happening on the outside.
