Challenges and Prospects of Democracy in Ethiopia

In fact, as a more complex concept, it was viewed by different scholars in different ways over time. However, in order to provide a meaningful starting point for this research, the researcher employs a key definition of democracy. Democratization refers to the process of enabling people of all socioeconomic backgrounds, genders, and races to participate in elections and political processes. This book examines challenges of democracy or controversial issues such as clashes of ideas, the use of illegal force, political theft, and problems related to weak governance, all of which have an impact on Ethiopia’s democratization process. In terms of the democratization process prospects, if it is carried out peacefully, Ethiopia’s initiated democratic reform will serve as a model for the rest of Africa’s neighboring countries. However, the failure of Ethiopia’s Revolutionary Democracy presents warnings, such as the risk to human life and material resources as a result of hate propaganda spread by diverse ethnic political groups and leaders, which has created fear in the community and instability in the country.

Dr. Beriso Amelo Hamato, as a professional started working in a non-governmental humanitarian organization as a manager for a year. Finally, he went to China and studied political science and international relations at the University of International Business and Economics. currently serving as the CEO of Ethiopian Shipping Transport and Logistic.

ዶ/ር በሪሶ አመሎ ሀማጦ የመጀመርያ ሙያው መምህር ስሆን ከአንድ ዓመት ቦኃላ የመምህርነት ስራውን በመተው መንግስታዊ ባልሆነ ግብረ-ሰናይ ድርጅት ውስጥ ተቀጥሮ ለአረት ዓመት በሃላፊነት ሰርቷል፣ ከዚያም በህብረተሰብ ልማትና አስተዳደር ዘርፍ የመጀመርያ ዲግሪውን ከኢትዮጵያ አድቬንቲስት ኮሌጅ በመውሰድ ለስድስት ዓመታት ያህል በሙያው አገልግሏል፣ በመቀጠልም ሁለተኛ ዲግሪውን በሎጄስቲክስ አለው። በመጨረሻም ቻይና አገር ሄዶ በአለም-አቀፍ ብዝነስ እና ኢኮኖሚክስ ዩኒቨርስቲ በዓለም አቀፍ ግንኙነት ሶስተኛ ዲግሪውን ወስዷል። በአሁኑ ጊዜ በኢትዮጵያ ባህር ተራነሰፖርትና ሎጄሰቲክስ በሙያው በማገልገል ላይ
