About Omniscriptum

The World’s Largest Book Publisher With a Personal Touch

At Omniscriptum, we believe that knowledge, ideas, and stories deserve to be shared freely, inclusively, and without unnecessary barriers.

Founded in 2002, Omniscriptum has grown from a family-run publishing group into the world’s largest book publisher. We publish thousands of unique titles every month, ranging from academic dissertations and research works to fiction, memoirs, and spiritual reflections, across a vast array of disciplines, genres, and languages. What remains unchanged is our commitment to accessibility in publishing, eco-friendly publishing through print-on-demand, and free publishing that keeps the process fast, simple, and fair.

Whether you’re an academic, graduate, storyteller, or spiritual thinker, you are welcome here.

Royalties and Author Rights

Our royalty model is simple and transparent. Publishing with Omniscriptum is always free of charge, and authors keep full copyright to their work. Royalties are paid on every verified sale through our global distribution network.

We are fully transparent: while some titles sell widely, others reach a smaller, more specialized audience, especially academic or niche works. Success depends on topic, readership, and promotion.

What we guarantee is professional publishing, worldwide availability, and fair royalty payments for every copy sold – with authors always retaining full rights and control.

Our Values at Omniscriptum

Peer Review in Publishing - Why Omniscriptum Does Not Use It

At Omniscriptum, we do not include peer review in our publishing process, which allows us to focus on accessibility, speed, and giving authors full control of their work.

As Richard Smith, former editor of the British Medical Journal, explained:

“Peer review is supposed to be the quality assurance system for science… In reality, however, it is ineffective, largely a lottery, anti-innovatory, slow, expensive, wasteful of scientific time, inefficient, easily abused, prone to bias, unable to detect fraud and irrelevant.”

We agree with this view. Traditional peer review is:

  • Time-consuming (it can delay publication for months)
  • Often biased or inconsistent
  • Not suited to every discipline or type of content

Many of our authors, especially those publishing theses or dissertations, have already passed university-level evaluation. For those who still require peer review, we encourage pursuing it independently. We will gladly publish works that have been peer-reviewed externally.

Instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all model, Omniscriptum provides a faster, more flexible publishing alternative that supports both academic research and creative works such as fiction, memoir, and spiritual writing.

Why Omniscriptum Is Not Vanity Publishing

Some people confuse Omniscriptum with vanity publishing, but the difference is clear. Vanity publishers charge large upfront fees and often lack transparency.

At Omniscriptum:

  • Standard publishing is free of charge.
  • Authors are not required to buy their own books.
  • You keep your rights and copyright.
  • Books are distributed globally in print and digital formats.
  • We publish both academic research and novels with the same accessibility model.

This is not vanity publishing. This is transparent, inclusive, and innovative publishing.

Let’s Publish Your Book Together

We are proud of the thousands of authors who have trusted us with their work. Whether it’s a master’s thesis, a religious reflection, a fiction novel, or a niche research topic – we are here to make publishing simple, inclusive, and real.

Let’s bring your work to the world.
